Netflix and Roku have just released a standalone box that connects to your TV and uses your broadband connection to stream movies and TV shows from your Netflix “Instant” queue. It’s been clear since Netflix launched “Watch Instant” for the PC that their long-term strategy is to offer content via the Internet. Netflix initially limited the number of hours per month a subscriber could stream content, but has since made it unlimited. Now, with the launch of this device, they are finally bringing their streaming experience to the living room.
