Steam Cloud to take PC game data into the cloud

Valve’s Steam service has lead the digital distribution of PC games.  The next update to the client will add syncing of game saves and preference data, allowing a player to play through games on multiple machines.  The update will also bring improved social networking features, such as tournament scheduling.
